NUEVO CD DE PASCUAL VILAPLANA CON LA AULOS WIND BAND DE SUIZA

Acaba de salir al mercado un nuevo CD dirigido por José R. Pascual-Vilaplana. Se trata de un CD doble grabado en directo durante la gira de conciertos que Pascual Vilaplana dirigió el pasado més de octubre de 2012 con la prestigiosa Aulos Wind Band de Suiza. En él se encuentran las siguientes obras: ESPÍRITU de Victoriano Valencia, CONCERTO FOR ALTO SAX de Ingolf Dahl, DALÍ de Aldo R. Forte, SYMPHONY Nr.8 de David Maslanka y YAKKA de Pascual-Vilaplana. En palabras del maestro David Maslanka: …your conductor clearly understood the score in a deep way, and was able to ask for a true sound; the band is technically excellent and was deeply engaged in the music; the sound that the band was able to achieve was phenomenal. Larger bands often do not play with centered tone or centered rhythm, but the sound of the Aulos band was delicious… Según el mtro. Aldo R. Forte: …The Aulos Sinfonisches Blasorchester is one of the premier wind band ensembles of the world. Wow! What a phenomenal group. Their sound is simply superb! It is very obvious that every musician in this band is an expert at their chosen instrument. Every section of this group exhibits supreme musical mastery. They have a totally artistic grasp of the music as evidenced by their wonderful interpretation of my work. Great kudos to guest conductor Maestro José Rafael Pascual – Vilaplana whose interpretation and grasp of my music exceeds my wildest expectations.
